Luminary Counselling and Wellness

"Luminary Counselling & Wellness is a private counselling therapy practice offering holistic counselling for folks who might be struggling with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, self-acceptance, domestic abuse, and existential exploration. "

The design challenge was to create an identity that feels warm, safe, and supportive while balancing spirituality and professionalism.

The end result was a graphic that represents personal growth and healing - using a candle/flame, as a symbol of light and guidance, which could also be viewed as a water droplet and leaf to symbolize the personal growth aspect. A serif typeface for the primary word mark was intentionally chosen to convey professionalism and trust, paired with a softer sans serif for a more modern take.

This identity feels balanced, calming, and professional and inclusive.
